Warrior Nun is a comic book adaptation of the Warrior Nun: Araela series. The current iteration focuses on Ava Silva, portrayed by Alba Baptista. Ava is a young orphan who wakes up in the morgue to find she has suddenly been healed of her of life long paralysis. Shortly after venturing out into her new life, she learns was brought to life by a mystical disk called the halo. As the new halo bearer Ava is now the de-facto leader of a secret sect of nuns charged with protecting the world from demons. Warrior Nun Season 1 is currently airing on Netflix.
