In this sequel 35 years in the making, Tom Cruise reprises his role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, one of the Navy’s top fighter pilots. After getting into trouble, yet again, Maverick is sent back to Top Gun to train/prepare the next generation of top pilots for what amounts to a suicide mission.
