CBS Teases Details For Top Shows
CBS has released teasers and premiere dates for several of its top shows including All Rise, NCIS: LA; Mom; S.W.A.T, and several others. (TVLine)
Charmed V. Charmed
Old school Charmed cast seems to take issue with the new school Charmed cast and the show itself. I have not only watched but also consider myself to be a fan of both shows. The new version of Charmed has really come into its own and is distinguishing itself from the original. What makes this beef even more ridiculous is that the OG members railing on the show claim to have not even watched it. How can you say something sucks if you’ve never seen it? (Buzzfeed)
AMC Theaters Running Out Of Money
Rona is ruining everything for everyone. Movie theaters have suffered greatly since Rona has shelved or pushed back most major releases for 2020. There are still some on the calendar for December, but we will see if they’re actually released. AMC announced last week they were going to remain open. However, they may have to file for bankruptcy. They announced that they will probably run out of money by the end of the year or early 2021. (Deadline)
Michael Ealy's New Stumping Ground
Michael Ealy has found a new show after the unceremonious covid cancellation of his show Stumptown. He has been cast in the Pilot Triage for ABC, the same studio which canceled his previous show. (Deadline)
South Korean Entertainment Is Taking Over
Oscar winning surprise mega-hit Parasite kicked off the year of the South Korean entertainment takeover. International K-Pop sensations BTS have continued that trend with their phenomenal year. They have truly found a way to make something sweet out of the Rona related setbacks. #Alive, a South Korean zombie movie is tearing up the charts on Netflix. I must say I loved Parasite so much I slowly started to get into other Korean shows and movies. My love of BTS has only cemented my love for Korean entertainment from movies, to KDramas, and music. Hi MTV, Welcome Back To My Crib
MTV is rebooting its iconic series cribs. I used to love this show. Honestly, I hope the new version takes off, and they are able to do several seasons because the introductory lineup does not seem that entertaining. Not a ringing endorsement I know. So we’ll just say it’s a wait and see. (Variety)
