Power or Love?

This week the spotlight shines on Jay B, the Korean R&B singer-songwriter and producer who shot to fame in the KPop group, GOT7. After GOT7 left their company JYP, JAY B signed with Jay Park’s H1GHR music and recently released his first solo EP, SOMO:FUME, which is AMAZING.

On SOMO: FUME, Jay B shines. After the lead-off single “Switch It Up”, which was released after his H1GHR music singing I was cautiously optimistic about the rest of his solo debut. Not because I ddin’t think it would be good but because I didn’t want my fandom to overshadow the reality of the project. Trust me when I say it didn’t. SOMO: FUME surpassed my expectations. So much so it has been on constant repeat since it was released almost a month ago. I highly recommend it. EVERY SONG.

I’m also looking forward to much more from JayB as a soloist as well a member of GOT7 and Offshore (where he performs under the Def moniker). The playlist also includes music from some of Jay B’s other side projects (Jus2, JJ Project etc…) and collabs
