These are the stories that shaped the year. If I am being honest this year has been shaped by tragedies from some truly heartbreaking losses to the Rona. But we have also been able to find some beauty and joy in all of this madness as well. This year has seemed like a decade in itself. So much has happened, it’s been hard to keep up. We lost a basketball icon and his daughter way too soon. We cycled through the entire hurricane alphabet and then some. There have been massive wildfires burning through an coast. A virus has practically crippled the world. There was the summer of ‘68 redux. We lost a true to life superhero and a larger than life justice warrior. Not to mention the politics of it all. And many other countless stories that have been forgotten or seemed to have happened a lifetime or two ago. But somehow we were able to compile a list of our Top 10 news stories of the year. Honestly I was surprised that Tammy and I agreed or should I say had very similar lists.
