D.O. You
I was first introduced to D.O. when I watched the drama 100 Days As A Prince and although I am not a fan of his group, EXO, I was so excited to listen to D.O.’s solo debut. I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised by how much I have enjoyed his mini-album. D.O. has a beautiful voice. I feel like he has the vocal range of becoming an indie-pop artist. You know those artists that are very true to the artistry and never focus on popularity. This album would be great for a small venue tour around the locals. Of course, the people who are just fans of the Kpop fast pop music won’t appreciate D.O.’s range but I find myself just listening to this album on repeat and not getting bored or distracted.
I am really into music that I can listen to while working which makes me pause when the vocals are just amazing. D.O. has turned out to be one of those artists. I can see myself listening to a Starbucks soundtrack and pausing when I hear one of his songs to find out who the artist is. That may not seem like a positive review but it is.
I would definitely recommend listening to D.O.'s first solo mini-album. Oh and he sings in 3 different languages: Korean, English, & Spanish. You will not be disappointed.
