Overall I thought this was an amazing rendition of the song because of course, it’s The Roots and BTS. I would love to see BTS do something on the Tonight Show with The Roots playing live for them. Talk about 🔥🔥🔥!

Honestly ‘Idol’ was not one of my BTS favorites…Until this performance. I still wouldn’t say the song has cracked my top Bangtan Top 10 but it has moved up on the list. I loved everything about this performance from the setting (which was filmed at the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace), to the choreography, even JK’s man bun didn’t bother me😊.

Full Disclosure - Home is one of my absolute favorite songs, not just by BTS but PERIODT. I la-la-la-love it. On this song, they’re in their R-n-B bag. Anyway on to this performance. it is absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. It is by far my favorite performance from the entire week and it really showcases their personalities.

This is another one of my favorite BTS songs. The grove and choreography are amazing. The setting was perfect for this performance. I love the ethereal feel of not only the song but the background. It’s a slower groove but still hits.

Mikrokosmos is a cool song. Although it doesn’t top my list of favorites, for some reason I love to see them perform it. This was probably one of my favorite performances of this song in particular. It was really subtle and understated. I also loved the setting. It was really pretty. I believe it was the same place they performed ‘Idol’ from the first video.

I must admit after seeing the ‘Dynamite’ intro with The Roots to kick off the week I was hoping that they would perform a different song. But I did like this performance. The skating rink was cute. Although I hated JK and V’s outfits. They were bad even for the 70’s 😂😂. But they did earn back some points for actually trying to skate at the end. Poor V and J-Hope don’t know how to skate.😂😂😂
