If The Suit Fits...
We finally get our first look at the new Batwoman suit to be worn by the new Batwoman and I must say I love it. It was definitely made to be worn by a black woman, which was the whole idea of the redesign. The costume designer said it was also suited to the character’s special fighting skills. I was skeptical about the recasting of this character. I was happy/excited when a black woman was cast in the role. It feels like a reboot of the show and the role. I love how the powers that be are really making this Javivicia Leslie’s role. She’s not stepping into Ruby Rose’s suit and expected to take over the role from there. I’m excited to see how they will weave some of last seasso’s open threads into the new fabric of the show. This is probably the fall show I am most eagerly anticipating(TVLine).
Victoria Mahoney To Direct 'Shadow Force'
Victoria Mahoney is one of the most in demand directors today. After making history as the first woman to direct a Stars Movie, ( Second Unit Director on ‘The Rise of Skywalker’) she has set her next feature film, ‘Shadow Force’. The film stars Kerry Washington and Sterling K. Brown, 2 of my favorites, as an estranged couple who must go on the run with their son. It’s described as an action thriller, which automatically puts it on my list. Add Mahoney, Washington & Brown not only as stars but producers as well, it catapults to the top of the must-see list. Kenya Barris To Direct Richard Pryor Biopic
Kenya Barris, the creator of black-ish, is going to write, direct, and produce the Richard Pryor biopic for MGM. All I can say is FINALLY. There has been talk about a Richard Pryor biopic for years. I just hope it does him justice and doesn’t get watered down for the times. (Variety)

Ariana's Tracking her "Positions"
Ariana Grande has revealed the tracklist for her new album “Positions”. The album features collabs with The Wkend (loved their song ‘Love Me Harder’. It’s still one of my favorite bops.), Doja Cat and Ty Dolla $ign. Sorry Army, no Jungkook (BTS) unless it’s a surprise not listed on the pre-released track listing. “Positions” is going to drop this Friday and I must say I am looking forward to it. As I write this I am thinking it will be a featured Quick Pop. Click on link for full tracklist. (Pitchfork)
