The Friday Wine Down🍷 (9-10) TV SeriesMoviesYouTubeBooksMusicPoliticsPop CultureKPopThe Trailer ParkThe Daily Wine DownFridayThe Friday Wine Down Sep 10 Written By Popcorn Winedown The One Where…The Vacation Is Over Christopher Nolan Is The BombChristopher Nolan is one of those directors who draws interest from studios, actors, and fans on his name alone. Well apparently Christopher Nolan is making another movie and there is already a bidding war amongst the studios, which is a big deal itself considering most of his movies have been made with Warner Brothers. So we will see if he is looking for a new home for all of his future projects or just this one in particular. Or is this just a leverage move? Only time will tell. As for this particular movie, it’s about the dude who invented the atomic bomb, Robert Oppenheimer. On the surface, it sounds very interesting and to my knowledge, there haven’t been many movies made about the guy, but all I can think of is Dunkirk. While that movie had so much promise and potential, it was truly boring AF times infinity. So while the name Christopher Nolan garners interest and the subject is even more intriguing…So I am praying he doesn’t Dunkirk it up. (Deadline) No Justice, No PeaceWhitney Houston is getting the biopic treatment. While I want to be more excited about that…I am approaching it with cautious optimism. I love Whitney and still miss her, but I also don’t want to see another watered-down celebrity biopic. I don’t want it to be about all the bad stuff I just want it to be honest about all of the details about her life, the good and the bad. It’s a combination of both of those experiences that make us who we are and none of us are perfect by far, whether or not we are a celebrity. Although Whitney Houston had one of the most perfect voices, she was not a perfect person. She was a human being which made her just as flawed as the rest of us. Having said all of that I have already added the premiere of I Wanna Dance With Somebody to my list. Love the title btw. The movie is scheduled to drop on Dec 22, 2022. (The Wrap) Joe Manchin Needs To Take Several SeatsI wish Joe Manchin would go somewhere and sit on a burning hot cactus. He is the absolute worst. He’s nothing more than a political dinosaur disguised as a moderate democrat. Actually, it’s not even that, he’s a clout-chasing politician in the pockets of the big oil, big pharma, and the coal companies, who is holding the Senate and the citizens, and the progress of this country hostage all in the name of? Hell, I don’t even think he knows anymore. I guess he likes the sense of “power” and name recognition. Oh yeah, the money from his employers can’t be bad either. Although I think he has forgotten that he actually works for the people of West Virginia and not the companies who line his pockets. First, it was voting rights and the filibuster and now it’s the human infrastructure package that he opposes. But he can’t tell you specifically what about it that he opposes except for the people pulling his strings know that it’s bad for their business even though it’s what the people who actually hired him want. He reps one of the poorest states in the country and the citizens of his state support both voting rights and the infrastructure bill. Not only that both would benefit them significantly, but for Joe Manchin holding up progress not just for the people of West Virginia but the people of the United States all in the name of ????? Joy Reid is right he is the “absolute worst”.
