The Thursday Wine Down🍷 (9-9) TV SeriesMoviesYouTubeBooksMusicPoliticsPop CultureKPopThe Trailer ParkThe Daily Wine DownThursday Sep 9 Written By Popcorn Winedown The One Where…The Vacation Is Over The ComebackInitially, I was really excited about returning to the movies. That was when it looked like we were turning a corner on this Rona thing and people were still being cautious about it. But now??? I honestly have mixed feelings. I do enjoy going to the movies. There’s nothing like going to see a movie in the cinema and seeing the reaction of the people around you. Eating the overpriced concessions etc…But I must admit I have become more uncomfortable about sitting so close to other patrons who are mostly maskless and with an unknown vaccination status. So if AMC is going to invest $25m in an ad campaign to get people to return they need to go back to the guidelines, rules they had when they first reopened. They need to mandate mask wearing for ALL customers and also block off seats again. Regardless of who they get to star in the campaign people are not going to return to the movies in the middle of a raging pandemic if they don’t feel safe. (Deadline) No Justice, No PeaceWow…So the going rate for being the co-founder and co-conspirator in a massive sex cult and causing a lifetime of trauma is really 3 1/2 years in prison? Really that’s it? For running a sex slave ring? Oh, my bad I also forgot the $150,000 fine for identity theft and racketeering. So this woman goes into court and basically says it wasn’t her fault she didn’t know what she was doing or what type of organization she was creating and the courts buy it. Because you know I’m sure it was all sincere and not at all part of her plea deal. 🙅🏾‍♀️🤬🤬🤬 But what really gets me is that the prosecutor actually had the nerve to say that she hopes some measure of justice was served. In my opinion, it absolutely was not.
