Jamie Foxx is set to star and executive produce the thriller ‘Day Shift’ for Netflix. The story centers around Foxx who fronts as a pool cleaner in San Fernando Valley by day and kills Vampires by night. Oh yeah because vampires are allergic to daylight. I’ll probably watch it because it’s Foxx but…Yeah we’ll see about the rest…(THR)

Shonda Rhimes Owns Her Sh*t

Shonda Rhimes is amazing. If you don’t know who she is besides one of the people I would like to be when I grow up (🤣🤣🙏🏾🙏🏾) she is the creator of Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away WIth Murder, and Scandal. She’s also the highest-paid showrunner in television. I remember when she left ABC for Netflix, it was surprising but somehow invigorating and confusing. Why leave ABC after so many years, especially with them still airing your shows? ( Grey’s & Murder) Well, it turns out it was over Disneyland passes. Nope, you did NOT misread that. A company that she had made BILLIONS for was being stingy over some damn Disneyland passes. Quibi Runs Out of Stream

Streaming service Quibi is going out of business after only months of service. I must admit I never got into Quibi. Maybe it was the pricing but I was not going to pay for 10 min videos, that’s why I have YouTube for free. Even the big names were not enough to draw me in. I get what they were trying to do, but maybe it was the right idea at the wrong time. Or just the wrong idea period. (Deadline)

CBS Sets Fall Premiere Dates

CBS has set the fall premiere dates for SEAL Team, FBI, and several others. Most of the shows are scheduled to premiere in November. I am getting excited. The return of fall TV seems to symbolize some sort of normalcy??? Or comfort? Who knows…I’m just looking forward to start of the TV New Year and hope the actors, crews, etc stay safe. (TVLine)

Leto's Joker Returning

Jared Leto’s Joker was one of the best things about ‘The Suicide Squad’. That’s saying a lot considering many hated his version of the Joker. I have grown to appreciate the performance. There was also some controversy over the decision to recast the role for the stand-alone ‘Joker’ movie. Well, Leto is going to get his chance to play the manic maniac again in Zack Snyder’s Cut of the ‘Justice League’ for HBO MAX. I had no idea the ‘Snyder Cut’ was going to be broken up into episodes. Talk That Talk Niecy

Niecy Nash is getting her own daytime talk show. I love Niecy Nash and am really curious to see what her show will look like. I must admit I do not watch a lot of daytime TV even when I am home, except for General Hospital which I record EVERY DAY. But I will check out Nash’s show once it airs.
