Celebrating Leo's Big Day With His Ten Best

I am a huge Leonardo DiCaprio fan and like many I think he is one of this generation’s best actors. Needless to say that any movie he is in automatically shoots to the top of the list. He should also have more than one Oscar but that’s a different conversation for a different day. In honor of his birthday (Nov. 11) a list of his 10 best movies was compiled. For the most part I agree with the list. I’m just not sure about the order. I may have to create my own list. Enjoy (Variety)

Oprah will interview President Obama for her Apple TV+ show The Conversation. The show will debut Nov. 17 at 9 A/EST. President Obama’s book, A Promised Land., will also (finally) be released on that day. I love listening to President Obama and his book is on my holiday read list. All of my lists keep getting longer. (CNN)

Save The Date For Jordan Peele

Universal has given Jordan Peele’s next movie a tha prime summer release spot. Peele’s new film which very few details have been released will premiere July 22, 2022. This will put it in competition with the summer heavyweights, action and superhero films, I am more than sure the film will be able to hold its own. Be sure to save the date. (Deadline)

Danai Gurira To Play Political Pioneer Shirley Chisholm

Before there was Kamala Harris and Stacy Abrams, there was Shirley Chisholm. The congresswoman had a historical run for President in the 1972 Election. She was the first woman and person of color to seek the nomination of a major political party. Danai Gurira is set to play the political pioneer in the movie The Fighting Shirley Chisholm. The new movie about Ms. Chisholm is not deemed a biopic as it will focus more on her political career and her historical run for President. This is definitely on the must-watch list, whenever it comes out. (EW)

Billie's "Bad Guy" Hits A Billion

Billie Eilish has joined some elite company. The video for her hit single “Bad Guy” has joined the billion views club. (click the pic to play). Her brand new song “Therefore I Am’ is set to drop later on today. I love Billie Eilish and am looking forward to her next album. Adding her to my must-see in-person list, when we can obviously go to concerts again. (Billboard)
